I rarely give out 5 stars but I found no category to give less. I was in the middle of a custody case and was very unsatisfied with previous lawyers responsiveness, professionalism, and I did not even know what our strategy would be. So I decided to seek new counsel. From our first conversation, I knew that I felt comfortable with Tamar as my lawyer. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and did not pressure me to make the change. I am glad that I did. Not just because we won the case, but because she went above and beyond what I feel any ordinary attorney would in the rating categories on here. Trustworthy because she gave it to me straight and explained both sides of the situation. Responsiveness because she would answer my emails and calls within a reasonable time frame no matter what time of day or night. Horrible experience and would not recommend this Attorney to anyone. No communication, untimely and unprofessional. Charged 2x the quoted rates and have gotten nothing accomplished after 2 years. This seems to be the way she handles her law firm from all the other poor reviews I have seen.

Tamar is the WORST attorney I could’ve ever picked. My case was not easy at all and I recognize that. The problem is that Tamar made it even worse. She charged multiple times for the same thing (for example my discovery) and then failed to submit it on time and the opposing counsel had to file for contempt! She would ask me multiple times for the same thing I had already submitted. I didn’t have my children and she failed to act time and time again when my ex would go against court order and not bring me my children for visitation. She claimed her parents were sick but never once seemed to care that I didn’t have my own children and she wasn’t helping at all by acting in a timely manner. She was the worse and I don’t recommend her to anyone. I have been busy rebuilding my life but I still plan to file with the board for attorney fees. I will say it again my care was horrible and not an easy case at all but she wasn’t professional and she simply just took all the money she could.

When I retained Tamar , I did so because I was leaving a very difficult marriage that required an attorney that was highly competent at negotiating, managing conflict, and litigation (if necessary). In my experience,, her greatest accomplishments were fanning the flames of conflict and collecting fees.
